A car has crashed into a parked car in Marlborough Place, just six weeks after another car crashed into parked cars and into railings at the exact same spot.
The blue BMW hit a parked white Kia 4×4 at about 10.45am this morning – at about the same time of day when the first crash happened on Tuesday, March 25.
Local author Paul Grzegorzek took this picture of the latest crash. He said: “When I arrived at work the car was half up on the pavement and traffic police and an ambulance were in attendance. There was a minor petrol spill.
“It just happened to be in exactly the same place as a crash a few weeks ago where a car went through our office railings and damaged two others.”
A police spokesman said: “We were called at 10.45am today (Thursday 8 May) after a blue BMW hit a parked white Kia 4×4 in Marlborough Place, Brighton.
“The 23-year-old man driving one of the vehicles suffered a slight head injury.
“Anyone who saw the crash should call 101 quoting serial 420 of 8/5 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk.”
