Following the high profile visits to Brighton and Crawley by George Osborne and Ed Balls yesterday, the Green Party has now announced its own European election campaign launch.
The party is driving its campaign bus all over the south east region, where they are fielding candidates in the European elections on May 22 – including current MEP Keith Taylor, council leader Jason Kitcat and hopeful Alexandra Phillips, who is currently a city councillor for Goldsmid ward in Hove.
Next Wednesday morning, all the candidates will be introduced by Caroline Lucas, the Brighton Pavilion and first and only Green MP, on the Old Steine.
These also include Derek Wall, Jason Kitcat, Miriam Kennet, Beverley Golden, Jonathan Essex, Jonathan Kent, Stuart Jeffery and Ray Cunningham.
The bus will then drive the hopefuls from Hampshire to Kent and from Milton Keynes to the Isle of Wight. You can follow its progress via the @GreenPartyBus Twitter account.
