Hundreds of pre-1915 motorcycles ran from Epsom to Brighton today for the 75th Pioneer Run.
The first bikes left Tattenham Corner at 8am and arrived at Madeira Drive in Brighton at around 10.30am.

The ride was promoted by the Sunbeam Motorcycle Club in 1930. It has run nearly every year since, breaking only for WWII, 2001’s Foot and Mouth crisis and last year’s bad weather.
It attracts the largest gathering of pre-1915 solo’s sidecars, tricycles and quadricycles in the world. From next year, all eligible bikes will be at least 100 years old.
