Police have issued an efit image of a man suspected of carrying out an armed robbery at a Hove betting shop.
Sussex Police said that officers had made extensive inquiries about the robbery which happened at at about 10pm on Saturday 8 February.
A man went into a branch of Ladbrokes, in Portland Road, Hove, and told a member to staff to fill a bag with money.
When the victim had filled the bag, the man left the shop.
Detective Constable Vanessa Sheehan said: “The man is described as around 6ft, large and wearing a hooded top.
“The victim said he used an intimidating manner and indicated he might have a weapon, although he didn’t see it.
“We are hoping someone might recognise this man which will help us with our inquiries.”
