Two teenage girls who have been missing for three days have been spotted in Portslade.
But Sussex Police said that concerns were growing for the 13-year-old friends from Lancing, who have still not returned home.
Jaadine Hobden, from Hurstfield, Lancing, and Jaydeene Boarer, from Derek Road, North Lancing, vanished on Monday (3 February) after school. They are believed to be together.
PC Roisin Vafaee said: “We are increasingly concerned for the two girls because of their age and the amount of time they have been missing.
“There has been sightings of them in Portslade, Lancing and Worthing.
“We would urge the girls to contact us to say they are OK.”
Jaadine was described as having long blonde wavy hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a green parka jacket with fur hood, black leggings and white Converse trainers.
Jaydeene was described as having long straight brown hair. She was wearing a black leather-type jacket and blue jeans.
