As the transfer window draws to a close, the Albion have permenantly parted company with four players and have welcomed the same number to the Amex.
The most disappointing for Albion fans will have been the sale of Liam Bridcutt to Sunderland, perhaps closely followed by Ashley Barnes’s departure to Burnley.
Young George Barker left the Seagulls for Swindon while Latvian Vitalijs Maksimenko has gone to Kilmarnock for the remainder of the season.
But the most surprising transfer was that of Brighton born Adam El-Abd to Bristol City.
Earlier today (Friday 31 January) Albion signed Spanish forward David Rodriguez who terminated his contract with Celta Vigo to join the Seagulls.
Earlier this week Albion signed midfielder Dale Stephens from Charlton Athletic and earlier this month Jeffrey Monakana from Preston.
Jon Obika has also joined on loan from Tottenham.
Oscar Garcia may look to further bolster his squad when the loan window opens again next week.
The Seagulls face Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday (2 February).
