Two more men from Brighton have been charged with drink driving during the Sussex Police Christmas crackdown.
Kevin Adams, 58, was arrested at 6.35pm on Tuesday (17 December) in Old Steine, Brighton, at a police stop check.
Adams, of Thorndean Road, Moulsecoomb, was charged with drink driving and driving without a licence and released on bail to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 16 January.
Michael Measor, 54, was arrested at 11.30am yesterday (Wednesday 18 December) after officers stopped his car on the A23 southbound at Albourne.
Measor, of Rock Close, Brighton, was charged with drink driving and released on bail to appear at Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 8 January.
Sussex Police said: “A total of 54 people have now been charged with offences since the Christmas drink drive campaign began on (Sunday) 1 December.”
The force said that people could text officers on 65999 with the details of anyone suspected of drink or drug driving along with their car make and registration number.

The force added: “If you know someone is driving after drinking or taking drugs call 999.”
