A man has suffered a broken jaw in an assault in Brighton.
The attack happened in Churchill Square at around 1am on Saturday morning (7 December).
The 18-year-old victim from Shoreham was waiting for a bus when he was approached by a group of young men.
They stole his phone and punched him repeatedly in the face.
The offenders are described as a group of three or four skinny boys aged between 14 and 16-years-old and wearing hooded tops.
Detective constable Paul Candy said: “Churchill Square is a busy area at that time of the early morning on a Saturday and I am hoping that somebody has seen what happened and may be able to give us more detail, or identify the offenders”
