The Conservative MP for Brighton Kemptown, Simon Kirby, has started an online survey on pedestrianising St James’s Street.
Mr Kirby has been contacted by residents about the possibility of closing St James’s Street to traffic.
He would like to get public feedback on the issue before taking it further.
“I believe such a move could help provide a boost to local businesses as well as improving safety for shoppers, diners and pedestrians but I am keen to hear your views,” he said.
He will also speak to some of the St James’s Street area residents in person to hear their thoughts.
If you would like to fill in the survey electronically, you can view it here.
