A teenage girl who went missing for more than a week has been found safe and well in Brighton.
Sussex Police said that Rebecca Lyons, 15, who had been missing from a care home in Hassocks since Sunday 27 October, was found in the town on Monday night (4 November).
She had not been seen at all since last Thursday (31 October) when she was reported to have been in Widdicombe Way in Moulsecoomb.
Police said that they were concerned for her welfare because of her age and vulnerability.
The force said: “The public and media are thanked for their assistance.”
