A busy Brighton road is due to be closed to daytime traffic for a week to allow contractors to resurface it.
Coldean Lane will be shut from 9.30am each day until 4.30pm from Monday (9 September) until Friday (13 September).
The road is used by the 5B, 24 and 46 buses, which serve the Coldean estate, as well as by thousands of cars, vans and lorries each day.
The work has been scheduled to take place before Brighton University students return to Varley Park, formerly known as Varley Halls, for the new academic year.
The university’s halls of residence there are being redeveloped to house more than 500 students.
Details of roadworks throughout the area can be found in the Journey On section of the Brighton and Hove City Council website.
