Brighton & Hove Albion 2 Burnley 0
The Albion won their second successive league match with victory over high-flying Burnley in front of just over 26,000 spectators at a soggy Amex.
Andrew Crofts scored for the second Saturday running, just after the half hour, to put the Seagulls in front.
Just before half time Will Buckley was up-ended by Clarets keeper Tom Heaton, who was shown just a yellow card, even though Buckley was clean through on goal.
Early In the second half Heaton appeared to handle outside the area when under pressure from Leo Ulloa.
Referee Darren Sheldrake was quick to administer the red card almost as though he was making amends for not doing so previously.
The Albion wrapped the game up with a superbly worked goal which saw Ulloa head home his third of the season.
Albion take on Millwall next Saturday at the Amex at 3pm.
