Andrea Orlandi had an early attempt on goal from a tight angle and was thwarted by the wet pitch just before the break. And Kazenga LuaLua had a stab at trying to grab a late winner against the Premiership side. Norwich also came close to scoring a second.
Kemy Agustien made his Albion debut in front of just over 10,000 spectators at the Amex.
