A 36-year-old nurse has been charged with conspiring to murder a homeless man on Hove seafront earlier this year.
Lauren Bishop, who comes from Seaford, is the third person to be charged in the case.
She answered bail yesterday (Tuesday 9 July) and was charged by Sussex Police with conspiring to murder 45-year-old rough sleeper Lea Williams.
His body was found by the Hove pitch and putt greens in Kingsway in an archway also known as “the bat caves” on Monday 11 February.
Bishop will appear at Brighton magistrates’ court this morning (Wednesday 10 July).
Two unemployed men were charged with murdering Mr Williams in April and brought before Brighton magistrates.
They are Michael John Clark, 52, of Trafalgar Street, Brighton, and Edward Phillips, 44, who has links to Brighton.
Post-mortem tests indicated that he died from severe injuries to his face and head caused by a heavy object. Other injuries to his body included multiple fractures to his ribs.
