The man suspected of murdering Albanian scaffolder Xhem Krasniqi in Hove seven weeks ago has been charged with murder.
Edmund Nela, 31, was extradited from Italy today (Tuesday 9 July) and arrived at Gatwick Airport this evening.
He was taken to Brighton where Sussex Police charged him with murder, two counts of attempted murder and with having a firearm.
Nela, who is unemployed and of no fixed address, is due to appear before Brighton magistrates tomorrow morning (Wednesday 10 July).
He was arrested in Milan last month and is suspected of shooting Mr Krasniqi dead in Church Road, Hove, with a single shot from a pistol on Saturday 18 May.
