The man suspected of a street robbery in Brighton was filmed by a closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera.
Sussex Police has released CCTV images of the suspect and is asking the public to help trace him.
He is wanted for questioning after cash was snatched from a 65-year-old Brighton man in London Road.
The victim had just withdrawn the money from the Natwest cash machine when a man leant over his shoulder and snatched the money.
The suspect made off up London Road – towards the north – at about 1.20pm on Tuesday 9 April.
He was described as a clean-shaven slim white man, 5ft 10in tall and in his late twenties to early thirties.
He was wearing a black hooded top, black trousers and white trainers.
Detective Constable Gemma Holley, from Brighton and Hove CID, said: “We are now releasing this image of a man would we like to speak to about this robbery and hope anyone who recognises him will come forward.
“This was a shocking incident and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed it or has any information to please get in touch.”
