Students at a Brighton college should find it dead easy to track down crime writer Peter James in their new library this week.
The bestselling author, who comes from Brighton, has agreed to open the library at Varndean College in Surrenden Road on Thursday afternoon (18 April).
The Dead Simple writer is expected to chat with students and sign copies of his books after opening the new library and careers department.
The college said that building work started in June last year and took eight months to complete.
The new space is called The Loft and has almost doubled the number of computers and study spaces available to students compared with the college’s original library.
