A Brighton man who was jailed for burglary, theft and drugs offences is being hunted by Sussex Police.
The force said that Lee Kevin Padula, 28, who was living in central Brighton, was wanted for recall to prison.
But police advised the public not to approach Padula who was only recently released from jail after serving two and half years.
He was last seen on Saturday 9 March at Kamsons Chemist in St James’s Street, Brighton.
Sussex Police said that Padula had a southern accent, a pierced left ear and several tattoos.
His tattoos include a tiger standing on rocks on his lower left arm, a heart with the name “Samara” on his right arm and a British bulldog on his back with the word “Dad” written on it.
Anyone who knows where Padula is or who sees him in the street is urged to call 999 immediately or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
