A 35-year-old man has appeared in court charged with two burglaries in Hove.
Anthony Harrison, of no fixed address, is accused of breaking into a house in Marine Avenue on Saturday 16 March 2013 and another property in Seafield Road on Wednesday 28 November.
He was arrested on Saturday 16 March when a member of the public called Sussex Police to report a man who was believed to be acting suspiciously at a cash machine.
When officers arrived at the Texaco petrol station in Kingsway, Hove, at about 3.30am they searched Harrison.
They said that they found several bank cards on him that were not in his name.
He was initially arrested on suspicion of theft.
Harrison appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court on Monday 18 March when he was remanded in custody until his next court appearance on Monday 29 April.
