Luke Simon Eubank appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 28 February) charged with domestic violence.
Eubank, a nephew of the former world boxing champion Chris Eubank, was arrested yesterday (Wednesday 27 February) charged with battering a woman and threatening to kill her.
The 27-year-old, who lives in Highcroft Villas in Brighton, was also charged with committing a public order offence.
It follows his arrest in November on suspicion of battering the same 25-year-old woman. At that time he was also accused of criminal damage and two counts of using violence to gain entry to her property.
Sussex Police said that he and the woman were known to each other and described it as a case of suspected domestic abuse.
He was remanded in custody until Monday (4 March) when is due to return to the Brighton court.
