A motorcyclist died after a crash in Hove this morning (Tuesday 28 August).
Police were called to the accident which involved a motorbike and a car in Davigdor Road, Hove, at 6.25am.
The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old Polish man living in Brighton, died at the scene after his Kawasaki motorbike was in collision with a Nissan Serena car at the junction of Lyon Close.
The car driver, a 68-year-old man from Newhaven, was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton, with shock but later released.
The road was closed for four hours. It reopened at 10.30am. Police are appealing for witnesses especially those who may have seen the motorcyclist just before the crash.
