A missing woman from Hove has been found safe and well, Sussex Police said this evening (Saturday 14 July).
Laura Chapman, 26, a hairdresser’s receptionist, of Westbourne Gardens, Hove, had been missing since she left for work on Tuesday morning (10 July) but failed to arrive.
She had also been seen the previous evening (Monday 9 July) in the company of photographer Stephen Webber, 41, as she left a property in George William Mews, Portslade, at 11.30pm.
The pair were found in the Eastbourne area at about 7pm this evening.
Chief Inspector Bruce Mathews said: “Laura has been found by some great police work.”
Sussex Police said that officers were speaking to the pair to understand the circumstances of Miss Chapman’s disappearance and to address questions about her welfare.
