A woman from Hove has gone missing.
Sheila Major, 68, who suffers from dementia, was reported missing yesterday (Sunday 1 July).
Sussex Police said that officers were concerned for her welfare and safety and her family were worried.
Inspector Jon Carter, from the Brighton and Hove Neighbourhood Response Team, said: “Sheila was last seen by her carer on Saturday 30 June at around 10pm.
“She suffers from dementia and is therefore very vulnerable.
“Although she has been known to leave her home before it has only ever been for a few hours at a time.
“We know Sheila uses the local buses to travel around.
Sheila was described as a slim 5ft 5in tall white woman with grey hair.
Sussex Police said that she may be wearing a light blue fleece or lightweight anorak, trousers or black jeans and white trainers.
Anyone who sees her is asked to call Sussex Police on 101.
