The Albion have exercised the option to extend the contract of Spanish star Vicente Rodriguez.
The former Valencia winger, who has also played for Spain at full international level, is contracted to the Albion until June 2013.
Vicente was a sensation in the latter part of last season, scoring twice against Portsmouth in February and completing many “assists” as Albion briefly flirted with the play-offs.
The club released the news this evening (Tuesday 26 June) – a day after announcing the signing of 31-year-old defender Bruno Saltor from the same Spanish club.
Last week Polish international goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak joined the Seagulls on a free transfer from Manchester United.
