A serial robber from Brighton is being hunted by Sussex Police for recall to prison.
The force said that Ben Wood, 27, had been released from prison on licence but had broken the conditions of his licence.
Wood was sentenced to two years in prison in 2010 for a series of robberies.
The force said that he had not been seen since last Thursday (3 May) when he left the address at which he had been staying in central Brighton.
A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Wood does not pose any specific threat to the general public.”
He frequents the Brighton and Littlehampton areas.
He was described as white, 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with cropped blond thinning hair, a pierced left ear and some distinctive tattoos.
On the left side of his neck is a Chinese character for “power”. On the right side of his neck is another Chinese character. He has a dragon on his left arm and a tribal band on his right arm.
On his right arm he also has the words: “In loving memory of Aunty Wendy RIP.”
Anyone who knows where Wood may be is urged to contact Sussex Police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
Is there a reward?
