More than 20 teams helped a Brighton children’s charity raise almost £4,500 at its annual quiz night.
The teams tested their general knowledge by taking part in the Rockinghorse rock ’n’ roll quiz at Sussex County Cricket Club in Hove.
Prizes were awarded to the winning team and for the best fancy dress, with the rock ’n’ roll theme providing inspiration.
All the money raised on the evening will help sick children in Sussex, including those at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital in Brighton and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit.
Allie Polhill, senior fundraising and marketing manager, said: “We’re delighted by the support we received on the evening and want to thank all the companies who supported us by donating prizes, as well as our generous quizzers.
“The atmosphere on the night was fantastic, with great team spirit and even singing and dancing on the tables for extra points!”
