A Brighton man was robbed on his doorstep in the early hours of yesterday morning (Friday 23 March).
Two men stole a laptop and computer from the 48-year-old man as he was returning to his home in Buckingham Place just off the Seven Dials, Brighton, just after midnight.
The victim suffered a superficial cut to his neck and was treated at the Royal Sussex County Hospital.
Sussex Police said that the cut may have been caused by a knife although the victim did not see whether his attackers had a knife.
Detective Constable Brad Lozynski said: “We believe that two men were responsible but have no descriptions.
“Please can anyone who was in the area and saw what happened or has any other with information call us via 101.”
Witnesses can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
