New Albion midfielder Gai Assulin didn’t expect to move to the Albion from Manchester City, but is happy to be at The Amex and hopes to do well in his initial one month loan.
The Israeli said he had a good experience whilst at Barcelona and had played a couple of first team games for the Spanish giants.
The player who was considered one of the best youngsters in world football, has had injury problems with problematic knee. He hopes these problems are behind him now.
He heard good things about the Albion before he arrived and spoke with Gus Poyet prior to joining the club.
Assulin says his best position is on the wing, left or right, and that he relishes a one on one situation with the opposing full back.
He hopes to be a creative force for the Albion and is looking forward to the challenge.
Gai said has not yet had a chance to look around the City of Brighton and Hove.
