Peter Brezovan told Brighton and Hove News earlier this week that he had not yet received a call from the Slovakian national team.
But he is aware that if he keeps making the local and national headlines, as he has been, he could add to the international honours that he has won so far.
The big Albion keeper is looking forward to playing at Elland Road this weekend, recalling that he played there with Albion on the team’s last visit to Leeds when an agonising last-minute equaliser gave the Yorkshire men a share of the points.
Brezovan was very complimentary about his current team-mates, saying that he thought the players around him were brilliant and that they were the best he had played with so far in his career.
The current Albion No 1 had a chance to join Leeds a few years ago, but a previous injury scuppered the move. Instead, Leeds signed a keeper called Casper Ankergren!
We will endeavour to bring you updates from Elland Road this afternoon as the Albion look to extend their unbeaten run to nine games in 2012.
