The Albion lost for the first time in three matches this afternoon, after a mistake from Casper Ankergren. The Danish keeper failed to hold a cross and the ball fell into the path of Middlesbrough’s Scott Donald who tapped home from close range.
Romain Vincelot, Ashley Barnes, Gordon Greer and most notably Kazenga LuaLua, who hit a post, all had chances to score for the Albion.
The Seagulls remain in 7th place in the Championship table.
