Thousands of zombies are descending on the centre of Brighton.
The annual Zombie Walk is due to start at 3pm from Victoria Gardens and end at Concorde 2 in Madeira Drive about two hours later.
The venue will host the Beach of the Dead party after the costumed participants have lurched and shuffled there way past gaping shoppers.
Last year more than 2,000 set off from Brighton Station but this year the organisers have gone for a starting point better suited to the large numbers.
While some zombies were arriving by train at the station, one said: “If you want to see a large number of zombies gathering here, you’ll probably have to wait until Monday morning.”
