A campaign has been started to bring new attractions to a prime site on Brighton seafront.
Brighton and Hove City Council has invited bids for users of a 116-metre stretch of the beach between the new Brighton Wheel site and the Yellowave beach sports complex in Madeira Drive.
The council has described the site as a superb opportunity for family themed leisure, beach and watersports and arts and heritage use.
It will be accepting expressions of interest until Friday 4 November.
Construction work has recently begun on the Brighton Wheel, a replica London Eye, after opposition from local residents was rejected.
