Creative cakes with a Brighton theme are being judged as part of the Brighton Food Festival on Saturday (September 3).
The Brighton Bake Off is part of the month-long Brighton & Hove Food and Drink Festival, launched yesterday (September 1) and continuing until October 4.
Participants are taking their decorated cakes to Jubilee Square from 10am tomorrow, with display and judging from noon.
Comedian Mark Little and Great British Bake Off 2010 winner Edd Kimber are judging. Edd will be signing copies of his book The Boy Who Bakes.
Brighton Bake Off was set up by Jeremy Jacobs, co-owner of family-run bakery Indulgence Cupcake Company. All money raised through the event will go to The Sussex Beacon, the charity supporting people living with HIV/AIDs.
Cakes will be auctioned/sold between 3.30-4pm, and Sussex Swing are performing and giving dance lessons throughout the day.
