A Portslade special school is set for a greener future.
Brighton and Hove City Council wants to install 20 solar electric panels on the roof of Hillside School, in Foredown Road.
The council has applied for planning permission and expects a decision in the next few weeks.
If the plans are given the go ahead the panels could be generating power for the school by the end of the year.
