Hove MP Mike Weatherley looks like he’s cooking up support during a visit to Ganges Brasserie.
He went along to the Indian restaurant in Church Road, Hove, to present a Tiffin Cup apron to recognise its success in a parliamentary contest.
Ganges reached the final 12 of the Tiffin Cup – a national competition to find the best in South Asian cuisine – but was beaten by the Taj Mahal in St Leonards.
The competition, which is in its sixth year, raises money for charity with this year’s recipient being World Vision.
The Conservative MP said: “We are blessed with a myriad of great restaurants locally and I am delighted that one of our best has been recognised at national level.
“The team at Ganges deserved to do so well and I enjoyed visiting to present the apron and try my hand at cooking.”
