A 55-year-old driver has been charged with attempted murder after a Brighton man was attacked and run over outside his home.
Patrick Lyons, of Down Terrace, Brighton, has been charged with the attempted murder of Barry Gordon in The Causeway on Saturday afternoon (16 July).
He is also charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Louise Lyons, 29, of Carden Avenue, Brighton, has been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent and actual bodily harm.
Katie Lyons, 26, of Firle Road, Brighton, has been charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
Sussex Police said that all three had been remanded in custody and were due to appear at Brighton Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (Wednesday 20 July).
Mr Gordon, 33, remains in a serious but stable condition in hospital suffering from head and chest injuries.
Police were called to The Causeway shortly after 3.30pm on Saturday and are still keen to hear from witnesses.
