A Brighton man has been remanded in custody charged with robbing four convenience store in the town in three days.
Christopher Moodey, 32, of Harrington Road, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (Wednesday 6 July).
He was charged with robberies at
- Corner News & Booze in Upper Hollingdean Road on Saturday 2 July
- the post office store in Preston Drove on Sunday 3 July
- N&M Stores in Upper Lewes Road on Monday 4 July
- St Mary’s convenience store in Upper Hamilton Road on Monday 4 July.
Sussex Police said that no one was injured in the incidents.
Moodey was remanded in custody to appear in September at a crown court yet to be decided.
