A man has been remanded in custody by magistrates after appearing in court charged with the rape of a 17-year-old girl in a park in Hove.
Michal Tejkowski, 27, from Maidstone, Kent, appeared at Brighton Magistrates’ Court today (Saturday 4 June) charged with raping the A-level student just after midnight on Tuesday 15 February.
He is accused of raping her in Dyke Road Park in Dyke Road, Hove, opposite the Booth Museum, in Dyke Road, Brighton as she walked home from a night out with friends in Brighton.
Tejkowski also faces two charges of raping a 25-year-old woman in a car park in Brighton on Thursday 10 March.
He was also recharged in court with the sexual assault of a 67-year-old woman in Moat Park, Maidstone, on Friday 6 May.
He had previously been arrested by Kent Police and charged with this offence which has now been added to the indictment.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Lewes Crown Court on Friday 19 August.
