Two men have been charged with burgling a charity shop in Hove.
Alec Lappin, 21, and Simon Brand, 23, were charged today with stealing clothes worth hundreds of pounds from the Oxfam shop in Boundary Road, Hove, in early January.
Lappin, of Butts Road, Southwick, and Brand, of Millfield, Sompting, have also been charged with stealing power tools from a garage in Shoreham.
They were arrested in Sompting at about 9pm on Thursday 6 January.
Although the stolen goods were recovered, Oxfam had to dispose of many of the clothes because they had become sodden.
Sussex Police said that the two men were due to appear before Worthing magistrates on Tuesday 24 May.
