Sussex 124-1 beat Middlesex 123 by 9 wickets

Sussex Sharks thrashed Middlesex Panthers by nine wickets at Hove with Luke Wright smashing 71 off 68 balls.
Wright’s innings included 11 fours and one six as the hosts chased down Middlesex’s low total with ease.
The Sharks had bowled out the visitors for 123, with Rana Naved taking three wickets, while Naveed Arif, Chris Liddle and Wright took two-a-piece.
Gareth Berg scored 52 to offer some resistance, but the Panthers saw their last five wickets fall for just 16 runs.
Wright’s international team-mate Matt Prior was over-shadowed as he was the only Sussex wicket to fall in his first County game of the season.
England’s World Cup wicket-keeper fell for just four in the second over to Ashes team-mate Steven Finn.
Ed Joyce finished unbeaten on 47 as Sussex comfortably chased their target with 17 overs to spare, and record their second CB40 win of the season.
