It would be a crime to miss it – Brighton author Peter James and academic expert Professor Peter Squires are going head to head for a debate during the Brighton Fringe Festival.
The pair of Peters will discuss criminals and justice at the Sallis Benney Theatre, part of Brighton University, in Grand Parade, Brighton.
Mr James has written a series of bestselling crime thrillers, including Dead Like You and Dead Tomorrow. Professor Squires, professor of criminology at Brighton, recently gave evidence to a House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee on firearms control.
They will take part in a conversation and question-and-answer session to be chaired by the university’s deputy vice-chancellor Professor Stuart Laing.
The event will take place on Thursday 12 May from 7pm to 8.30pm.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from www.brightonfestivalfringe.org.uk or by phoning the Brighton Festival Fringe box office on 01273 917272.
