A Brighton man who was arrested on suspicion murdering his partner has been released today without charge.
Tony Turner, 50, of Upper Lewes Road, Brighton, was arrested on Monday afternoon (11 April) after the body of Karen Simmons, also 50, was found at their home.
Sussex Police said that officers were no longer treating her death as suspicious after post-mortem tests were carried out.
The force said: “Although the post-mortem results were inconclusive and further tests will be carried out, they did not show any evidence of a suspicious death.”
Mr Turner has been told by officers that he faces no further action.
