The new series of a popular science programme which is filmed in Brighton will start its run on BBC One a week late.
Bang Goes The Theory was due to air last night but the BBC broadcast a tsunami special after the earthquake in Japan on Friday (11 March) and its devastating after-effects.
Instead, Bang Goes The Theory’s fourth series is now due to start being shown next Monday (21 March).
The programme is recorded at the Sussex University campus in Falmer where the programme makers have now established a permanent home for the show.
The university is also now home to the programme’s production lab which used to be based at the Knoll Business Park in Hove.
