Hove’s troubled Old Market Theatre is to reopen in May, in time for the Brighton Festival and Brighton Festival Fringe.
The theatre was sold to theatre company Stomp last spring after its previous owners, the Old Market Trust, went into liquidation with tax debts of £240,000.
Events include And the Birds Fell from the Sky, an “immersive video goggle performance for two people,” and Your Call is Important to Us, a play about the frustrations of being put on hold by call centres.
