Two men armed with baseball bats and wearing balaclavas robbed a shop in Brighton last night.
They yelled at the man working there to get down on the floor before stealing money, drink and cigarettes.
Sussex Police said that the men held up the Brighton Emporium in Warleigh Road at about 10.10pm yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Stephen French, of Brighton and Hove CID, said: “This was obviously a very distressing incident for the member of staff who was in the shop at the time and we are keen to hear from anyone who may be able to help us identify the men who carried out this robbery.
“We would also like to hear from anyone who saw them leaving the store after the incident or saw any men acting suspiciously in the area before it took place.”
