The motorcyclist who died in a crash at the weekend has been named as Kenneth Boxell.
Mr Boxell, 52, of South Coast Road, Telscombe Cliffs, was involved in a crash with five other vehicles on the M23 on Saturday morning (8 January).
The accident happened at about 6.10am as Mr Boxell was heading north, just past junction 10a by Maidenbower, Crawley.
The motorway was closed in both directions for several hours while the emergency services and the Highways Agency dealt with the incident.
The drivers of the other vehicles, three cars and two vans, were unhurt and their vehicles were not seriously damaged.
