A Brighton woman had to be rescued by firefighters after she trapped her finger in her vacuum cleaner.
A crew from Roedean freed the woman after being called to her home in Welesmere Road in Rottingdean at about 8.30pm on Monday.
A firefighter described it as “one of the more unusual jobs our guys have had to deal with”.
She had bent down when she caught her finger in between the back wheel of the vacuum cleaner and the body work.
The East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crew lifted the vacuum cleaner and freed the woman’s finger shortly after reaching her home.
