A Brighton man is being hunted by police for breaking the terms of his licence after his release from prison.
Lloyd Trill, 21, was released early on licence from Rochester Prison in Kent in September.
He had served a year having been jailed for two years and three months for assault causing grievous bodily harm by a judge at Hove Crown Court.
The National Offender Management Service has now recalled him to prison and Sussex Police has appealed for help tracing him.
A Sussex Police spokesman said: “There is no specific intelligence to suggest Trill is a danger to the public but even so people are advised not to approach him but to contact us.”
Trill, who comes from Brighton, is 5ft 6in tall, has blue eyes and is normally clean shaven.
He has short straight brown hair and is of medium build.
Anyone who sees Trill or knows of his whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police on 0845 6070999 or to call the charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
