Three people have been charged after a fight in a squat in The Cliff, Roedean, on Sunday evening (12 December).
A hammer was used during the fight, injuring a man from Portslade who was taken to hospital with a head injury. He has since been discharged.
Jamie Dimmick, 43, of no fixed address, is charged with affray and is due to appear before Brighton magistrates this morning, Sussex Police said.
Pawel Sobczak, 30, of The Cliff, Brighton, is charged with affray and has been bailed to appear before Brighton magistrates on Thursday 23 December.
Samantha Jeffcoat, 20, of The Cliff, Brighton, is charged with obstructing police and has been bailed to appear before Brighton magistrates on Thursday 23 December.
A 29-year-old man of no fixed address was detained for court after failing to appear on warrant.
A 35-year-old man from Brighton, arrested on suspicion of affray, was released with no further action.
A 39-year-old woman from Brighton, arrested on suspicion of obstructing police, was released with no further action.
