A Brighton house that was converted into two maisonettes without planning permission has now been turned back into a house.
Planning enforcement officers from Brighton and Hove City Council also issued an enforcement notice to ensure a first floor roof was not used as a roof terrace with railings without permission.
Lindsey Shakoori, the owner of 114 Hythe Road, Brighton, has now removed the railings and restricted access to the unauthorised roof terrace.
Councillor Lynda Hyde, chairman of Brighton and Hove’s planning committee, said: “We are pleased this case has been resolved.
“Our officers will always try to negotiate a solution but will not hesitate to take enforcement action when necessary.”
